Welcome to my new blog! I hope to add new entries more or less weekly, so I hope you'll check back often. Here you'll find reflections, new projects coming up, and maybe the occasional guest artist post or glaze recipe.

So I'll start this post off with some goals I have for this year. Being in the middle (although by now hopefully closer to the end) of a pandemic, I don't know if I'll be participating in any local street or craft fairs this year, but I'm hoping to once things start to get a bit better around here. That said, I think one of my main goals for this year is to try and get more active on social media sites and venture out of my comfort zone a bit by making more videos. I usually tend to shy away from the camera, and speaking to a screen is still super awkward for me, but in one of my latest videos I was able to have my five year old daughter narrate it and I think it came out much better than if I had been the one talking. I hope you'll check it out and maybe leave a comment if you like it! I'm probably a bit biased, but she seems like a natural to me. :)

My other goal for this year, and maybe into the next two or three if need be, is to sell exclusively on this website. I realize that a big part of that is to have a greater online presence to guide potential buyers, but that just ties this goal with the first one. There's a lot to look into in terms of gaining followers, posting relevant content, and keeping your audience engaged, so I hope to find the time to read up on all of this and apply it in the near future.
