Hello again! I hope you are all having an enjoyable weekend. I had my first festival show yesterday up in Teaneck, NJ, and it was so much fun! It felt really good to finally be doing something 'normal' again. Overall the weather was great (a bit of a sprinkle in the afternoon, but nothing an abandoned tent couldn't fix) and there was a pretty good turnout. I had a quite few sales and met a lot of friendly faces, and I'm already looking forward to participating again next year.
So jumping back into test tiles again, I'm so glad you've come this far.. I'm about halfway through these glaze combos, and every time I pulled a handful of them from the kiln I got more and more excited from the results. I hope you're enjoying all these photos. In all honesty, this has been a lot of work, but I'm happy to share the results with you all and hope you'll let me know if you decide to try any of these.
The glaze today is Landslide. I was a bit underwhelmed with this glaze actually, as its not glossy, bright, or overly eye-catching. Under blue glazes it wasn't bad, so I might try to test it in the future with a few other glazes and see what happens. For now, its on the shelf.
Thanks again for reading. Up next: Cenote! And this one is worth the wait..
